MK ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING DESIGN studio was established in 2000 .

The process of Lighting design begins with the research of the space, its compositions, its finish materials, its textures and functionality.

As an architectural lighting designer my aim is to create dynamic relationship and balance between function and esthetics, between light, space and the end user.

Lighting creates visual order in space. It can hide or reveal architectural element and rhythm, it can highlight compositions and it plays a major role in creating the atmosphere of space.

Of course, our visual and esthetics solutions consider functional requirements such as light pollution, energy saving systems, efficiency, maintenance and budget.

We specialize in commercial projects such as shopping malls, office buildings and hotels.
Public projects such as hospitals, seashore promenades and museums.

Last but not least, we have great passion for illumination of historical sites.

Our scope of work begins with research and concept to lighting calculations, issuing cad lighting plans or BIM to tender and final supervision.
